The Redux version of CRIMSON METAL met all my expectations!Now it's almost a new game. CRIMSON METAL is simple but a really fun FPS game. Atmospheric, brutal and challenging. Is worthy of respect when devs puts work into their games, not just make a game and abandon it but try to improve every time. Hope more people will give this game a chance!. If you truly enjoy "old school" shooters than this game is a must play. Made with an older game engine, the developer trulypull off a mighty feat. Good Ol'fashion run & gun shooter. Nice fast pace kept my interest. Great sound track, good atmospheresettings, not to sparse or cluttered, just right. For those of you how remember and enjoyed those early fps games from the mid 90's, then this one's for you. The dev. has most certainly put a lot of love, labor and thought into this and it shows.Run, gun, find ammo & health and just stay alive till the end. Cons and pluses of the game. 1) Plus: Models of weapons and mutants, I really liked their unusual. 2) Plus: A lot of shooting. 3) Plus: Walk on the floors and wonder what you are waiting for behind the mysterious doors and uncover them openly, and there you are waiting for mutants and you in the punk shoot all the clip in them and try to hide from them ...This is very cool. 4) Plus: The sound design is great for a dark atmosphere. 5) Plus: Very hard in a good sense.Now about the minuses 1) Less: No settings. 2) Less: I almost do not see any enemies. 3) Less: Departure from the game. 4) Less: FPS ... 5) Less: Long time of loading. I am sure that most of these drawbacks will be corrected in future patches. And so the game really liked.I advise everyone to play!. Controls are terrible, gameplay is meh, and the overall sound, art, and design of the game sucks. Definetly not worth any money, and worth even less time.. Crimson Metal is a 90s throwback that brings the old mechanics and formulas of Quake and Doom in modern times. The lack of a budget is obvious, and the game could be better, but still it's a great fun. Almost two years since the release, and the developer continues to update the game, and now we got The Redux version of the game and it's AWESOME! Looking forward to Crimson Metal 2!.
